Photo GroupThe HWPS Photo Group meets once a month, normally on a Tuesday at the Synagogue at 8.00pm. We share different aspects of photography. Our interest vary from taking photos, collecting old cameras, learning about well known photographers and their impact on the wider world. At the end of the formal programme we share any recent work we have, from holiday snaps to digital images or darkroom work. We also discuss exhibitions and support each other, and swap hints for improving our photos. the overall atmosphere is one of enthusiasm and mutual support. We commence at 8.00pm for 8.15pm and all are welcome from beginners to pros! Details of dates of meetings are included on the Synagogue Diary. The next meeting is on Wednesday 25th August when we shall discuss what "Your Desert island Book" might be. Contact Janet Solomon via the Synagogue office for more details. All welcome! Speaking FreelyCome and join us on the 3rd Friday of every month when we have an informal discussion group on topical events, both Jewish and of general interest. We have coffee at 10.00am and start our meeting at 10.15 with a different discussion leader each time. Discuss the issues and feel free to disgaree! All welcome!
